Food of Assam

Are you planning to go on a tour to Assam? Then, how about having a fair knowledge about the food available there? This North East Indian state is famous for its cuisine, which is also known as the Assamese cuisine.

The state’s cuisine is known for a very little usage of spices. The strange thing is that even then, the cuisine tastes delicious, reason being that the food there is prepared in endemic exotic herbs, vegetables and fruits.
