Food of Delhi

Being a cosmopolitan city, the food of Delhi is a mixture of various North Indian dishes, Punjabi food, Mughlai cuisines, and street food. Delhi is known to have tickled the taste buds of one and all with its relishing food diversity. The typical Delhi cuisine includes a variety of cuisines from different parts of the country and it has made Delhi a great place for all foodies.

Continental food as well as Chinese food. There are numerous low budget restaurants, roadside Dhabas, eating joints and mobile food wagons where the foodies can satisfy themselves with a variety of food at reasonable rates. There are many places in the capital city that are names after the food such Paranthe Wali Gali, Bengali Market, Annapoorna, and Ghantewala.

Greater Kaliash, Sunder Nagar, and Pandara Road are some of the places that are usually flocked by people fond of eating delicious and good food. These places are well-known for entertaining people with kababs, chaat, bhelpuri, sweetmeats, tandoori chicken, tandoori roties, biryani, and Chinese food.

There are also some places that offer delight of exclusive cuisines. There are places like Darbar at Ashoka Hotel, Bukhara at Maurya Sheraton, Delhi ka Aangan at Hyatt Regency, Corbetts at Claridges and Baluchi at the Hilton that people like to visit.
