A tour to Goa can be made more interesting if you plan it in the right season. This Indian state enjoys a temperate climate almost round the year. Rainy season here lasts from June to September and during this time the atmosphere here is very humid and unpleasant.

The best time to visit Goa is between October and March, when the monsoon just ends. In other words, winters and springs are the best periods to explore Goa and its beaches. On an average, the temperature here varies between 25 degree Celsius and 30 degree Celsius.

Winters in Goa lasts just form 2 to 3 months and starts from November till February. During winters, the temperature falls as low as 3 degree Celsius and during summers it rises as high as 45 degree Celsius. Monsoons have a major role in influencing the climate of Goa.

Goa gets an average of 250cm to 300cm rainfall annually. Actually, Goa lies in the path of the southwest monsoon and therefore dry period lasts for about 8 months in a year. Try to avoid touring this beautiful destination during rainy season, as the humidity during that time is unbearable.
