With its longest coastline of 1290km, Gujarat is a state with a dry climate almost round the year. This enchanting tourist destination is situated at a position that bounds it with the Arabian Sea from the west and the south west. On the other hand, it shares a border with Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Pakistan and Maharashtra.

Weather in Gujarat can be categorized into four seasons, including, winter season that lasts from November to February, summer season that lasts from March to May, monsoon season that lasts from June to September and autumn season that arrives in October.

The best time to visit Gujarat is between October and February, when the climate there is warm and dry. Throughout the remaining year, the temperature here is quite high and unpleasant. During summers the temperature in Gujarat rises as high as 41 degree Celsius and during winters it falls as down as 12 degree Celsius.

Much of the climate of Gujarat gets influenced with its positioning near the sea. It is one of those Indian states that experience a great diversity in its climate.
