Weather in Haryana     Find us on Facebook

Your tour to Haryana might not be as fruitful as you would want it to be, unless you read about its weather beforehand. Haryana enjoys a continental type of climate and is considered as one of the hottest states of India. Like many other Indian states, here too the climate is categorized in four seasons, including, summers, winters, autumns and spring.

Rainfall in this region is uneven with major occurrence in parts like Ambala and Karnal. Rainfall here arrives in the months between July to September. Winter season in Haryana lasts between December to February, while the summers arrive in April and lasts till June.

In winters, the temperature in Haryana can fall as low as 1 degree Celsius, while in summers it can arise to as high as 50 degree Celsius. This drastic change in temperature here is due to the fact that Haryana lies in the Shivalik Hills as well as in the Aravali Hills region, the former is the wettest region, while the latter one is the driest region.

Now, if you want to know about the best time to visit Haryana, we would say it is during the spring seasons that lasts from February to April and August to November. Make sure to carry light clothings while touring this state during this season of the year.
