Jammu and Kashmir boasts for its rich cultural blend. Basically, the state comprises of three regions, including, Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu, and all the three have their own entity and variations. Plan a tour to Jammu and Kashmir and have a peep inside the culture of Jammu and Kashmir.

This north Indian state reflects a perfect amalgam of color, harmony and zest. Its rich cultural heritage can’t be explained in few lines. People here are fond of dancing and singing. They have different dance forms and music for different occasions. Women here are expert in the dance called, Rouff. While the men love dancing the Dumhal dance.

The Hafiza dance, Ruf and Wuegi-nachun, Roul and Dogri are some popular folk dances of Jammu and Kashmir. Rabab is one of their famous folk music. These people love playing musical instruments like Sitar, Nagara and Dukra.

The natives of Jammu and Kashmir celebrate their weddings with fun, frolic and gossips. The region is also famous for its Bakhan songs and various different musical instruments. Art and craft is inherited in the blood of the people living here. They are expert in weaving carpets, shawls, rugs, kurtas and making pottery.
