Though a newly formed Indian state, Jharkhand still many things to boast about in its culture. Anyone visiting this state can’t leave without getting touched with the bounty of flora and fauna in this state. Not just natural beauty, even the people of Jharkhand are beautiful within and in their way to treat guests and tourists.

Folk music and dance is an integral part of the people living here. They love dancing and singing on any good occasion. Much of the population here comprises of tribal communities that are famous for simple yet happy living. Dohari, Janani Jhumar, Pratkali, Faguwa, Udasi, Pahilsanjha and Jhumta are some of the popular folk music of Jharkhand.

Karma, Nachni, Agni, Paika, Matha, Sohrai, Ghatwari, Santhal and Choukara are some famous dance forms of Jharkhand. Talking about the festivals of Jharkhand, these people have certain special festivals like Badna, Sarhul, Tusu and Poush. Culture of Jharkhand is rich, as people here are from various religions yet united. They have a unique lifestyle and many tribal languages. However, Bengali and Urdu are the two prevalent tribal languages of Jharkhand.
