How to Reach Meghalaya by Air: Tourists can reach Meghalaya by air very easily. Though, the state doesn’t has its own airport, the nearest airport is at Guwahati that is situated at a distance of 128 kms from Shillong. Regular flights are available to and from Guwahati.

How to Reach Meghalaya by Railways: Meghalaya doesn’t have a railway station and the main station is located in Guwahati. Tourists can easily board a train to Guwahati and then hire a taxi or bus to reach Meghalaya without any problem.

How to Reach Meghalaya by Roadways:Meghalaya is connected with all the neighboring states through a proper network of roadways. It has National Highway 40 that runs through it and connects Guwahati with Shillong.
