Just like its attractions, the cuisine of Orissa is also worth praising. Food prepared here is largely influenced by the neighboring states like Bihar and West Bengal. People here are fond of eating sea food like crabs, fish, prawns and fish. They also like gorging upon eggs and chicken.

When in Orissa, make sure to take the Mahaprasad during a visit to the Jagannath Temple. The Mahaprasad is cooked in the biggest kitchen of the world by over 400 cooks daily to feed over 10,000 people.
