“Punjab,” The Land of Five Rivers, is a northwestern state in the country of India. The name, derived from the Persian word ‘panj’, which means five, and ‘aab’, which means water. The rivers, Jhelum, Chenab, Beas, Ravi, and Sutlej provide fertile land that ensures cultivation. The location of “Punjab,” is very important.
