How to Reach Sikkim by Air: Though, Sikkim doesn’t have an airport, traveling here by air is not a problem. The nearest airport is at Bagdogra, which is just 125 kms from Sikkim’s capital, Gangtok. You can avail regular flights to and from this airport.

How to Reach Sikkim by Railways: Sikkim doesn’t have a railway station but still tourists can choose to reach this place by railways. The nearest railway station is at New Jalpaiguri, which is well connected to Gangtok by a superb road network. Regular trains can be availed to and from Kolkata, Delhi and Guwahati to New Jalpaiguri.

How to Reach Sikkim by Roadways:Reaching Sikkim by roadways is also not a problem. This Indian state is well connected with a good network of roads. However, traveling here by road in the monsoon season is bit risky due to the chances of landslide.
