Popular among them are Mudumalai National Park, The Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserve, and Arignar Anna Zoological Park. The Mangrove forests at Pichavaram are also ECO- friendly which is main tourist attraction.

Tamil nadu is land of varied beauty, which has hills, forest, beaches, and temples. It can be said that it is perfect summary for tourist attraction. Tamil nadu is blessed with grandest Hindu temple of Dravidian architecture. These are distinctively known as GOPURAMS. The Rajagopuram is the world’s largest functioning Hindu temple and the tallest Gopuram in the world. The Cholas have also built the Brihadishwara temple in Thanjavur. Mahabalipuram which is also locally know as Mamallaburam consist varieties of huge and ancient monuments along with the Shore temple. In the heart of Tirunelveli we have largest Shivji temple. Madurai is the home to one of the grandest Hindu temple in the world – Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple.
