Known as the second smallest state of India, Tripura exhibits a perfect fusion of modern and traditional styles. Be in this state and enjoy being part of its various joyous celebrations and festivals. This state celebrates almost all festivals of the country. The way festivals are celebrated here shows the cultural harmony of the people living here.

Kharchi Puja is one of the popular festivals of Tripura that is celebrated by both the tribal and non-tribal groups. This festival is celebrated for a week in a temple. Many tourists aim to visit Tripura during the Kharchi Puja. Then, there is Ashokashtami that is celebrated in March or April every year.

Diwali is the festival celebrated throughout India and Tripura is not behind in celebrating it with enthusiasm. People of Tripura worship, Goddess Kali on this day. Apart from this, Garia Puja is a popularly celebrated festival of Tripura that comes in autumn. Tripuris also love celebrating the Orange and Tourism Festivals in the rainy season.

Ker Puja is an event to watch out in Tripura, during which the guardian deity of Vastu Devata, Ker is worshipped. Then, comes Buddha Jayanti that is celebrated in the Buddha Temple at Venuban Vihar in Agartala.
