If there is anything the state of West Bengal is known for, is its food. Bengali food has spread all over the world and is something short of a ‘big craze’. The cuisine of West Bengal primary consists of rice and fish. There are many people who eat vegetables. Fresh water fish is a common diet of the people of West Bengal. Mustard oil is used as the cooking oil in the state of West Bengal. The Hilsa fish is among the most favored meal in the state.
